With the Scouts off from school in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, we elected to honor him in a hand's on fashion by building thoughtful care packages with hand-drawn artistic messages on each. So many kid's showed up to help that we actually ran out of supplies long before they ran out of effort. Lesson learned. If you make a service event fun enough, you can help even more people than you think. (We'll buy even more supplies next year).

The Lunchbags went to a good cause but we may also look for other recipients to spread the goodwill around. Thanks kids. Thanks Jackie for organizing.
