Heritage Festival Fundraiser 2026

The Heritage Festival is a great Haverford Township event (Sunday June 7th) on Karakung road every spring. We ask Cubs (and some parents) to donate their time by manning the booth. It's a fun way to learn about making change and motivating sales.

About the event
If you haven't attended there are folks dressed in period garb, a beer garden, food trucks, craft vendors, and live music around the historic buildings. We traditionally have a Pack 462 table and this year we're upping our game with the help of Chef Pepino. We'll be selling some sort of hot food. We MAY ask Cub parents to donate soda and for kids/parents to donate their time by manning the booth.
This is not just a chore, it's a fun learning experience. The kids love to man the cash register, make change, and lure in potential buyers. They tend to then run off and play in the creek (so don't be surprised if they get wet). We'll need help setting up, manning the booth, and acquiring supplies. Worth noting: this is AFTER the Blue & Gold but obviously we ain't done yet. We need your help to hit our fundraising…
