Meet at the Grange Pavilion to celebrate a new Scout Season, hike, play Gaga ball, cook S'mores (over a propane stove) and recruit potential new scouts. (Time is TBD)

About the event
This is the official opening of every new Scouting Season! Get together with old friends and new Scouts meet the pack. There's a quick flag raising ceremony. Then kids hike down to the Grange Estate and back (with supervision). New parents listen to Scout leaders explain the program. New registrations are encouraged (now online). We also identify who is returning so we can order supplies before the Haverford Township Day parade. And to top it all off, kids get to roast marshmallows over a propane stove. And the Eagles play on a Friday in brazil so we're safe on that front.
